I need to access a share without knowing the IP or the fully qualified
domain name.
Is this possible?
On a mac, I always have to type xxx.ourwebsite.mil/share123
I haven't had a problem typing the fully qualified domain name until
now. There is a server only accessible from the inside, so I'm
wondering how to get to it.
Typing smb://XXX/share123/ into a linux box (not on the domain either)
works. But it won't from the mac. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Phil Salesses
