New York -- A week after announcing the launch of its new eBookstore, bookseller
Barnes & Noble has unveiled plans to provide free Wi-Fi service in all of its stores nationwide. Though
AT&T has offered Wi-Fi to Barnes & Noble customers since 2005, the expanded agreement will make the service complimentary and unlimited for store visitors. The company said that customers will
now be able to freely download and preview any of its over 700,000 e-book titles, including hundreds of thousands in the public domain books available from Google. Barnes & Nobel has 43 locations in Maryland, Virginia and DC.
