I addressed the Safari issues mentioned below some months back. Here is the
response I received from Brandi at the AKO Help Desk (grammar and Caps
unchanged):
---------------------
Sir,
The AKO/DKO portal was coded to be used by Internet Explorer. Other browsers
will work with the portal but may not display the AKO/DKO portal correctly.
One of the browsers that have the biggest problems on the MAC is Safari. If
a user is using Safari on their MAC to access the AKO/DKO portal, suggest
that the user use either Camino or Firefox to access the AKO/DKO portal.
Camino and Firefox generally have fewer issues with displaying the AKO/DKO
portal.
The AKO/DKO portal does have any support for any browser other than Internet
Explorer.
-----------------------
Even a note to the PM, AKO by a good friend (on this list) didn't seem to
help. It does seem strange that they would basically ignore the fact that
the AKO community includes family and retirees that don't all use IE...
Regards,
Dave Carlsen
