If Office 2008 works like all of the other MS products, the edition is
determined by the CD Key...
You should be able to use your CD Key from a pro version with the media
of the Student edition and it will act as the pro product.
I have on Windows Vista DVD... depending on what key I used from MSDN,
it activates as that level of product.

Tim,
The short answer is "yes". The Home and Student version of Office
include Entourage but not the Exchange interface elements of Entourage.
If you try to set up a new account there is no Exchange Server option to
pick from. To get that you need a "full" version of Office. I personally
own a Home and Student version and have the "enterprise" version at
work. I've been tempted to see if I can just reinstall Entourage from
the enterprise version over the home and student version but have not
tried that. Ever since I found out that putting in two identity
preference entries in Keychain for the NMCI URL (with and without the
trailing "/"), I've been satisfied using Safari to run OWA on my home
system.

Um, why? Is there some hidden difference with the version of Entourage
bundled with Home & Student that I'm not aware of?
