For the Army, VM options are not an option. The only authorized solution
using the Army Gold Master (AGM) for Mac is 'Boot Camp'. None of the VM
applications were approved for the final distribution of the AGM which
should ship (we hope) later this month.

Actually, I've found that despite the fact you have to 'run' Windows, using
OWA via a virtual machine is a pretty good solution. I run a Windows XP VM
through Fusion's 'Unity' interface, and it's very stable.
I've also put together a some resources for those who want to run OWA
natively in OS X, though I've not had success using Navy (NMCI) mail with
Entourage:

Why? As I said, it works fine under XP, which I already have. What
benefits would I gain by using Entourage instead?

At this point, it's highly recommended.
