Title: Re: [Fed-Talk] Entourage / NMCI E-Mail Issues
After spending an hour on the phone with the NMCI HelpDesk with someone who knows nothing about Macs, I finally got the issue resolved. I happened to think to ask him if he could tell if my account was somehow locked out. Turns out that was it – as soon as he unlocked it all was well. Of course, he couldn’t tell me HOW my account managed to get locked.

Are you saying that Mail cannot use PKI in general (aka signing messages, encryption, http://kb.wisc.edu/helpdesk/page.php?id=4093 ) or specifically that the firm certs are not extended through the keychain service (security services) to Apple Mail?

Does the Snow Leopard client connect?
That would be a good alternative. Entourage is on a long walk off a short pier… to be replaced by Outlook Mac. Might be a good time to think about a switch. Apple Mail is much more powerful although I am not well versed in its connectivity to Exchange 2007 yet. We are still on 2003 (sigh).
AFAIK Mail doesn't grok PKI authentication.
