Not sure about your situation in iTunes, David. But they've removed
other features too. No longer can one right click the iTunes dock icon
and get a "Mute" menu item. Now I need to go to the application and use
the volume slider or use the keyboard. Not all change is good.....
Have you tried Roxio's Toast and CD Spin Doctor? Might be a solution
for you.

Subject: [Fed-Talk] Software Change? Feature Dropped?
Hi all,
I posted this on the Apple Discussion boards with no response, so I
thought I’d try here.
Last year I did a project to convert some audio tapes to CDs for our
English Language Program. I was using GarageBand '08 and iTunes for
burning. When the GB file was exported to iTunes and burned, iTunes
automatically turned the chapter makers into tracks on the CD.
I tried the same thing this year with GB'09 and the latest iTunes. All I
got was one long track, no brakes. Has this feature been removed from
GB/iTunes? If not, what is the current/best way to do this?
I hate when there are great features in software and updates remove or
hide them.
