Saudi Arabia is banning all Blackberry devices effective Friday because RIM refused to give them a master key to decode encrypted Blackberry traffic....
This raises an interesting question.. first I want to say hats off to RIM for sticking to their guns...
I am assuming the iPhone will have the same issues, does this mean apple has a master key to circumvent the hardware encryption on iPad and iPhone devices? Not that I have anything to hide, but I would certainly think this type of action would concern our high security agencies because if one person has a master key, you can vet 30 of their closest friends can get it.
