I would also consider that certain things do not belong as a "built-in". The consumer needs to be able to update or eliminate parts, like TV tuners, at will. Yesterday it was NTSC, today HD, tomorrow... pure Internet feed. It is fairly close now to the point where a TV tuner is obsolete.
BluRay, I honestly have no intention of buying such as all my movies are now digital files. The disk (CD, DVD) is on the edge of being obsolete. (in my house of 5 they are obsolete).
Built in 3G cell radio? Obsolete soon? Today?
Considering the trends did they forget to list "built in obsolescence"? :-D

Yes, Macs do not come with Blu-Ray or TV Tuner cards but in the new digital world, media is moving away from "moveable parts" etc READ: Flash Drives, and Solid State. From a manufacturing point of view it makes more sense, less parts to break, the less time you are without your machine.
