I'm not surprised :) The thing is though, unless it has dual radios, people on Verizon will be upset when they cannot do voice and data at the same time. It would make a lot of sense for Apple to also release to tmobile, because tmobile will do voice and data at the same time.
Even though I have moved away from iPhone (now using Nexus S, which is nicer IMHO), I am sure they will sell a ton because whether or not the iPhone is the best, Apple markets the best.

On ZDNET Today:
DigiTimes cites sources within Taiwan-based component suppliers in saying that Apple has raised the global shipment goal for iPhones for first-quarter 2011 from 19 million units to 20-21 million units.
The first-quarter shipment goal for WCDMA iPhones has been adjusted from 13 million units to 14-15 million units, the sources said. The shipment goal for CDMA iPhones, which will be launched in North America and Asia Pacific in the first quarter, is set at 5-6 million units, the sources added.
Global iPhone shipments in fourth-quarter 2010 are estimated at 15.5 million units, resulting in a total of 47 million units for the entire 2010, the sources indicated.
iPhone shipments are expected to rise next year. Anyone surprised?
