The sad part to all of this is the lack of innovation. The success of Steve Jobs and Apple has always been innovation, not marketing. Bill Gates and Windows are into marketing and money (perception) where Steve Jobs and Apple were the geeks doing it for the love of doing it and innovation was going on (perception). This was the first time I saw zero innovation and just a marketing ploy to pick up market share from Kindle.
And to see Jobs keep repeating himself "It's so pretty! Look you can read web pages! Look it's so pretty! You can read web pages!" was heartbreaking, like watching Grandpa getting excited about home movies of his appendix scar.
But a battle-hardened Ipad might be useful (WHEW...Got it back on list topic just in time!)
