The Navy lead for the USB issue happened to be here in San Diego giving a brief earlier this week. He mentioned that each Service was in the process of taking the STRATCOM guidance and tailoring it for Service-specific implementation. In the Navy, for example, I think he said that thumb drives will only be allowed on systems that have Host Based Security System (HBSS) software....so, as far as I know, that leaves Macs out.
