Shawn, I guess everyone was trying to download the documents at the same time because the direct links didn't work until I just treid them again.
I'll be eagerly awaiting the Snow Leopard guides.

Answers inline below.... On Jan 21, 2010, at 5:01 PM, Peter Link wrote: Shawn, Great news. How does this impact the release of a 10.6 security configuration guide?
There is no correlation between the two.
Was this a first step towards that and SCAP content or something totally separate?
Totally separate. I checked Apple's website for a new guide as well as NSA's, nothing new.
The Snow Leopard Security Guides are *coming* very soon. Check back after the end of the month or wait to get my announcement of their availability.
I also noticed that the Apple website for CC does not yet include the 10.6 documentation, only up to 10.5.
The links provided are indeed for the 10.6 Config/Admin Guide and Whitepaper. What you are referring to is we retain the links on that page to the previous "Tools" (Auditing components) if customers are running on previous versions of the OS.
Look specifically at the documents I provided the links for:
- Common Criteria Configuration & Administration Guide v2.1
- Common Criteria White Paper

The following are references to the content specifically posted in support of the Common Criteria Certification. Those individuals looking for and needing the Auditing information only can refer directly to the Common Criteria Administration Guide.
