I agree with others. Flash has peaked and will be going downhill from here on out. I bet within 2-3 years most videos offered on the web will be accessed through HTML 5. Both YouTube and Vimeo are already providing this capability. Beyond being a resource hog (and Adobe products have been a major source of vulnerabilities and application crashes lately), I think Apple has business motivation to kill Flash.
Skype should work, since it does on the iPhone. Although the proof of the pudding is in the tasting. We will see in about 60 days when it finally gets into customers' hands.
And Apple *always* holds back useful features capabilities from its products. Much of this may be engineering limitations, some of it may be cost, but it also gives users a reason to purchase the newer version. I bet within 2 years the iPad will have an OLED display with a front facing camera supporting iChat video over WiFi and LTE -- just in time for all the early adopters to buy new versions. :)
