Just confirmed that my Jabra speakerphone works just fine after upgrading my iPhone 3GS to iOS4. Connected first time (kept connection preferences from before upgrade) and I was able to make a call.
As far as Microsoft SYNC is concerned .... they do talk about ver. 4.1, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsembedded/en-us/products/windows-embedded-automotive/default.mspx, with iPhone 3.x support so they probably hardcoded the version into their Windows embedded CE software forcing you to wait for a simple update (probably chargeable) to get it to work again. They say it supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR so that's not the problem since my iPhone 3GS still has the same software.
