The thing is, even if XSERVE's make a profit of $1.00 a year, it's still a
profit. If XSERVE is COSTING apple money (which I doubt, they are pricey)
I can see dropping it.. But if it is making so much as a dollar a year
it's worth keeping.
The issue at hand now is with the dropping of the XSERVE, NOBODY here
trusts apple for the server architecture!!!
And as much as I love apple, I cannot blame them. Who wants to invest in
an OS that could go up in smoke like the XSERVE?
I now have to move everything to a Redhat Enterprise server.. Fortunately
it's MySQL and PHP, not a big deal other than file path modifications, but
you cannot get anyone to touch Apple for enterprise after this event, and
I cannot blame them...
