In light of not being able to trust Apple in an enterprise environment, I've started moving our Mac Pro systems over to Windows 7 64bit...
We of course have the bluetooth Magic Mouse, and the small aluminum keyboard...
Getting it to pair is impossible.. if it works in Win7, it doesnt work in OS X, if it works in OS X it doesnt work in Win7.
We have Applecare... I called, they were worthless, knew nothing... pointed me to macrumors forums where this is a common problem.. I followed all of the tiresome steps to install in both and it does NOT work.
has anyone here been able to get Apple bluetooth products to work under bootcamp (yes latest drivers installed) with OS X and win7 64 bit?
Applecare surely had no clue (and I am hoping I get survey), and I find it hard to believe (but not impossible) that apple has a rig like this!!!
I hate to say it but in light of the XSERVE being retired, there is zero chance of getting anything new apple here to run anything on, and the process to move PHP and MySQL apps to windows has begun... I would at least like to keep some hint of OS X but if I have to pick bluetooth with one OS, that OS unfortunately at this point will be Win7 on my work computer.
