I have MBP running 10.5.8. I am on a Navy network and have this issue with certain people have two certificates that show up in my keychain that makes the keychain appear to be corrupt. With these two certificates in Keychain I cannot sign email, I cannot sign PDF files, I cannot encrypt email. The Certs in particular are D0D Interoperability Root CA 1 expires 12/31/2010 and DoD Root CA 2 expires 4/23/2010. If those certs are in Microsoft_Intermediate_Certificates all of my certs show "This certificate has an invalid issuer", If I delete them I get green check "This certificate is valid"
The errors on the certs are "This certificate cannot be used (unrecognized critical extension)"
My question is; Is there a way to block these certs from entering my keychain or is there a patch to accept these particular certs?
