Regarding Keychain access, you can script that from the CLI too using the
'security' utility. There's a good writeup at the URL below. A quick and
dirty one-liner is (where account_name is the username):
security find-generic-password -ga account_name 2>&1 >/dev/null | sed
's/^password: "\(.*\)"$/\1/'
