Hi Paul,
The $99 Developer program applies to both individuals and companies. I’ve registered as both an individual and for my LLC. This is the program you want for your organization to distribute apps via the App Store. The $99 covers as many developers as you wish (I think there’s a limit, but it’s @100? Anyone?)
The $299 Enterprise program covers corporations that want to develop apps to distribute internally, and not on the App Store. I’m going through the process now for AFRL/RYAA (Air Force Research Labs, Sensors Directorate).
Don’t know about Android.
Hope that helps,
Steve

Subject: [Fed-Talk] Cross-Post: Getting Apps for the Army into the Apple Apps Store (and Android Store?)
I've been downloading all the Apps for the Army and any other DoD app I can find off of the Apple App store and would like to know what the process is for getting them there in the first place. Folks have advised me about getting into the Developer programs but I can't see where an organization can get the rights to upload to the App store, only individuals. What am I missing? (Any info along the same lines for the Android store is appreciated, too)
