It says you have to run ESXi on Apple hardware in order to virtualize OS X Server under Vsphere 5.

Funny thing is I thought ESXi was hardware based and Apple doesn't make any ESXi-based hardware (yes/no?)

What is Apple's official statement on this relative to the Apple EULA? Does hosting OS X Server on VMware 5 violate this?
