Mike,
I believe the way this beta release works is it keys the installation to the App Store user/computer that you get the redemption code from. If you configure your secondary computer to use the same App Store ID (permitted on up to 5 just like iTunes) then the Installer can be move to that computer. This installer is not the typical bootable installer (actually might be but not in its present form). It's meant to be run from a working 10.6.6 system and either installed on top of the current system or onto a secondary disk/partition. Installing on a secondary disk/partition is the safest way to perform a scratch install.
Without the App Store ID, this installer won't work.
