The rumor in the press is that they are talking with Apple about licensing Rosetta libraries to distribute with the product to allow it to continue to run. Rumors in the press are that several companies are talking with Apple on this topic. This is all RUMOR as far as I know.

"What are your plans related to personal finance solutions for Apple customers? We are committed to supporting Apple products and our Mac customers. We are actively working on a personal finance solution for the iPad, as well as continuing to deliver the highly rated Mint.com iPhone application. In addition, we are evaluating options for Quicken Essentials for Mac." I guess that means they aren't even guaranteeing that they will continue to release new versions of Quicken on the Mac... super.

As for Quicken, there are other articles on the web talking about this. Intuit has been very lax, just like Adobe was, in upgrading their software. I understand Quicken Essentials is not capable of doing everything the regular Quicken does. I also find it interesting that Intuit has had a universal version of TurboTax back to 2007 (at least) so why are they not recoding Quicken?
