Okay, a few more details - fresh install of Lion & Server. Turned on L2TP, then tried to enable PPTP. PPTP won't start correctly from terminal - I used the Apple suggested entries in server admin, but the Authentication Protocol array keeps returning "empty array" and the service won't start. I blew away the com.apple.RemoteAccessServers.plist and started over - still no luck. I checked the logs and the VPN (L2TP only) is listening for a connection. My connection out is with an AEBS which has been configured by LS and double-checked for appropriate port forwarding. All of that said, any ideas?

That's a pretty broad question -- I'm using both Ciscp IPsec and PPTP successfully with Lion.
