The truth is, whether or not you love Apple or hate them, credit for where ALL smartphones are today is because of Apple.
Before the original iPhone all of them sucked.
Even for years after the original iPhone they sucked, HTC was claiming touch screens when it was a piece of plastic that wouldn't work.
It's only in the last year or so that Android has caught up to iOS, but even with that, iOS is much more refined… everything just works. Music fades out on phone calls, if you get a get a text while listening to music it gracefully lets you know…
Android is a train wreck for a lot of the "just nice features".
It's like a Kia or a Hyundai.. they get the job done, but Mercedes will get the job done and make it exceptional.
I purposely didn't use the BMW analogy Steve used to use because I hate BMW :)
Porsche and Mercedes for me :)
