I have a feeling, from seeing the job postings on Apple.com's career section and their purchase of Siri, that the functionality will be forthcoming, and better.

The beauty of the Android way is that any app that uses the keyboard is by default speech enabled. If it has the ability to take virtual keyboard input, it will also take speech input.

When trying out Dragon, it seemed that I had to go into Dragon, click to record, let it convert, then tell it I wanted to send it as a text message, then address it. On Android, I could simply reply via speech, directly in the messaging app (because of the keyboard integration). Far fewer steps.
