Has everyone who has found that Safari 5 broke CAC access to some web sites (for example infosec.navy.mil) but not others filed bug reports?
It's been nine months since I filed a detailed bug report based on a multiple clean installs with different versions of OS X and Safari and what worked since OS X 10.3.x is still broken in Safari 5. Meanwhile Safari 4.0.5 and Chrome using the same system libraries/frameworks work just fine on the web sites that Safari 5 glitches on.
One point made in a recent discussion with experienced people is that without bug reports from the affected people the bug will not be fixed as the priority depends on the number of customers affected by the bug which is reflected in bean counter terms by the number of bug reports.
Given that there is a work around, i.e. Google Chrome, I'm not sure I can get any of my coworkers interested enough to create Developer accounts and file a bug report.
