Title: Re: [Fed-Talk] CAC caused keychain issues
Extracted from the ReadMe from our current PKard v1.1 product ...
After a CAC or PIV is inserted into the card reader, System Preference Panes cannot be
unlocked under 10.7. This is an Apple bug. To unlock Preference Panes, you must remove
your smart card and reboot, and then access the Preference Pane BEFORE reinserting your
smart card.

Running 10.7.1 on two computers I have now seen this:
1.Computer operating normally
2.Inserting CAC and pin in, Outlook uses CAC keychain
3.System pref panes are no longer able to be unlocked, nothing but a restart will clear this problem. System seems fine until you insert the CAC and then this problem appears. System level glitch, logging in as a different user exhibits the same problem on the pref panes.
Tried flushing caches of sys preferences and keychain access on user level (no effect) but unsure of where to look on the system level. I have also rebuilt all keychains to no avail and clean install exhibits same behavior.
Any thoughts?
