Apple isn't saying, and I'd be *shocked* if they did.
That being said... we're in a bit of the same boat. Won't surprise me if they do come out with another update or two, but I would consider Java 6 to be dead, and if you have a POAM, make plans to migrate to 1.7 (which means ditching OS 10.6.....)

Understood… I know Java 6 is EOL. But I've heard conflicting info of whether or not Apple will continue to maintain / patch Java 6, or if the most recent Java patch they (Apple) released is the last one. I'm hoping to find info from Apple saying, "Here's the definitive answer".

Dear John,
Apple's last release of Java is 6. Orcale Java 7 will be supported by Oracle but not by apple.

Java 6 ultimately comes from Oracle, and Oracle has ended public updates for Java 6 as of February 2013:

I've run into an issue with an application that only works with Java 6. I was under the impression Apple isn't doing any more updates for Java 6. I'm trying to find something that gives me a definitive answer one way or the other, but am coming up blank.
If Apple IS going to support it, I need that info for a POAM. If they aren't, I need that info to encourage the developer to get cracking on a solution that uses Java 7.
