Can also install from thumb drive to install faster.
Web very convenient, thumb very fast. Any re-install happens from emergency partition if needed.

John,
You should be able to get Mountain Lion volume licensed:
In our case, we received a redemption code from Apple for the Mac App Store. We set up an Apple ID specifically for our Apple volume licenses, logged into the Mac App Store on my work Mac using that Apple ID, and redeemed the code. Mountain Lion then showed
up in our list of purchased assets.
Thanks,

Is there any way for us to get licenses for Mountain Lion to upgrade our Lion systems without using the App Store? We want to do one purchase, not fiddle around on each individual machine.
