All,
I was looking to set up/upgrade one or two new Mac mini systems for standalone, disconnected operation. We have two systems here that are on Snow Leopard and have been working fine but are getting a little long in the tooth. I searched a few places for updated Security Configuration Guides for Mountain Lion and have come up dry. I tried searching the list and there is a good deal about CoreCrypto and the like. That doesn't help me so much as these will be non-networked systems and don't even plan on being on the internet after the initial setup.
I have used the file here to help harden the system - https://ssl.apple.com/support/security/guides/ but alas, as the list has mentioned, these haven't been updated for the last two OSs and with a new one coming down the pike, that doesn't look so hopeful either.
I am trying to get these systems NISP-approved and these guides have been handy in the past.
Thanks,
-----
