Hi all,
I’m having an issue with Mavericks not being able to see its network after a sleep/wake cycle. This apparently is more prevalent on machines with statically defined IP addresses, and might be due to the system saving power by releasing router connections during a sleep (?), and those connections don’t get renewed with the local router afterwards. There’s no Apple forum discussion I can find, but the following MacRumors forum discussion seems to describe what I’m seeing perfectly:
Wondering if anyone else has seen this, and if so what you did about it.
Thanks, Glen
