Just a data point. Nothing really new.
How long Apple supports an OS version with updates is a frequent topic, in part because Apple (AFAIK) doesn’t explicitly say. The general rule of thumb has been the current_version and (current_version - 1), which would mean Mountain Lion and Lion right now.
So I did enjoy seeing the article below, where Snow Leopard is still getting at least some security updates.
