In my experience, the GPU determines eligibility for Mavericks, due to the
more intense graphic demands of Mac OS X. Have an embedded Intel 945G?
Sorry. Have a discrete GPU made from nVIDIA or AMD with at least 512MB
GDDR3 or better made in the last 6 years? You should be fine.
