Given the relative track record of Apple and Microsoft, all I can say is 'Save me from "enterprise companies".'
That's not to say Apple can't substantially increase transparency in this area. But having just joined a company that is 100% Microsoft, with no accountability on all the problems caused by that "enterprise company," I remain committed to the platform that (a) makes me substantially more productive and (b) has a much better all around track record with respect to actually exploited vulnerabilities. And if my current employer makes it impossible for me to use that Mac to work for them, I'll just retire for good.
