One way to potentially get at some of the restrictions is to better lock down the home screen. You probably know that in the Security preferences, one can disable access to the schedule, notifications, passbook, and reply with message. By disabling
these, Siri would no longer be able to access these items without the device being unlocked. This might provide some of the restrictions that Hank mentioned, while not actually disabling them for Siri. They should be disabled for Siri from the home screen,
however.

Sounds to me like people want, not just a way to disable “hey siri”, but a way to give it different (more restricted) access to data on the phone. E.g. let it read incoming text messages, but nothing else.
