For me it's an easy question. I tend to keep mail from years ago and find that I actually use that old mail frequently. I have one computer that has all that mail. With IMAP, I'm limited by the server space devoted to that mail account. If I tried to keep all my mail on an IMAP account, I'd quickly fill up my quota. Hard drive space for me, however, is cheap to keep a copy.

No problems here, but I use IMAP. I gotta ask, why in the world would anyone use POP3? I want to access all my mail and folders on all my devices. We had this discussion at LANL a few years ago, and we no longer support POP; we just support IMAP internally.
