I have no idea. Sadly it effects us even for encrypted email, same
pattern where it works fine with MS Outlook and shows nothing in Apple
Mail. We inform people that use encryption not to use Apple Mail and
have reported it to Apple.

When I received e-mail that is signed, Apple Mail often doesn’t
display anything about the digital certificate. In Outlook Mac I can
easily tell if the message is signed. Sometimes in Apple Mail I can
tell as there is a “Security” header displayed with the message. Often
AppleMail doesn’t display the security header, but Outlook does.
Anyone know how to get Apple Mail to display the security header if
the message has been signed?
