With distribution scripts, there are no preinstall and postinstall
options in the script itself.
A solution could be to use an invisible package with an empty payload
and a postinstall script. IIRC, this is what Apple is using for the
pre/postaction stuff (Create Alias, Get Application, etc.).
As for finding out which packages were selected, this is possible from
an Installer plugin. Using pkgutil from a script would probably not
help as the packages could have been installed previously.
