Same here, I reinstalled the "Java for OS X 2013-004" update four
times but I still have the 1.6.0_51-b11-456-11M4508 build (and I doubt
my ISP performs any sort of caching).
Mike, could it be that the file has been incompletely distributed across
the nodes of the CDN?
It would also be helpful to know the sha1 digest of the installer
downloaded by who managed to successfully update its Java installation
and if it has been effectively updated on the Apple download page.
The sha1 digest of the installers I downloaded is the same I see in the
download page, that is: 153c3f74d5285d10008fce2004d904da8d2ffdff
