You'll use OBEX to send files to the phone. You don't need any AT commands to do that. There are several examples in /Developer/Examples/Bluetooth. For SMS you'll need a few things. First, find the AT Commands manual for the T68i on Ericsson's site (or the T68, T39, R520. They're all pretty much the same). The commands for sending and receiving SMS are pretty simple (setup notifications for incoming messages, send messages). It's encoding and decoding the PDU string that's a little more tricky. Here's a good site for the PDU format: http://www.dreamfabric.com/sms/ You'll also want to pick up the actual GSM spec from www.etsi.org (documents GSM 03.40 and GSM 03.38) to fill in any other details. What documentation is necessary to understand how to send files to the T68i and also how the SMS functionality in Addressbook was written. Specifically the ability to send an SMS and also how Addressbook gets the SMS upon receipt from the phone. I'm talking about the final release (Or rather the GM candidate from seeds download site, posted on August 1) Both the final release and earlier seeds are build 115, but the earlier seeds didn't include the Bluetooth stuff. The DevTools were installed from the Developer Tools CD image. (I don't have the /Applications/Installers folder??) Which build # are you running and are you talking about the devtools that are in /Applications/Installers? That's where I installed mine from and I can tell you that in build 115 there's no bluetooth SDK files. It doesn't ship with Jaguar, it ships in Jaguar. Here in Thailand I recently picked up a T68i and needed a Bluetooth dongle for my DVI powerbook. Well the Dlink was no where to be seen but I did manage to get hold of the one by MSI. It works fine under 10.2 Some of the dongles (3com) have be reported to require an powered USB hub to work. first off all I don't think this is the place to ask for these features/products... I do understand the need of such a product but you should keep into account that those are two high freq. transmitters running on roughly the same frequency. This would be a engineering nightmare to get this working right in a PC card enclosure. Secondly if you really want these things I suggest you send a mail to Apple Developer Feedback. http://developer.apple.com/contact/feedback.html Assuming you are a ADC member.
