Keep an eye on which thread or queue the NSTimer is scheduled on. If you run your Bluetooth code on another queue than the main queue, there is a big chance the timer will not be executed. GCD worker threads don't use NSRunLoop which is necessary to run a NSTimer. Srikanth - No, there is no support for connection interval timeouts in CoreBluetooth. That said, it's straightforward enough to implement a watchdog timer.
