Reusing CBPeripheral across multiple re-connections

Hi, We've seen two different approaches to re-connecting to peripheral once a connection is lost (e.g. our device moved too far from the iTouch/iPhone). 1. Scan before each reconnect to obtain a CBPeripheral. Connect using this new CBPeripheral. 2. Scan just once to obtain a CBPeripheral and reuse that peripheral for each subsequent reconnection. We are opting for scenario 2 but wanted to hear what others are doing. It seems to work fine for us so far…even when placed into the background. Why rescan if we don't need to. Hi Seshu To connect iOS and an HID accessory, the user needs to pair it via the Settings.app in the Bluetooth pane. After that, the device can also initiate a connection. iOS doesn’t handle mouse descriptors or allows to simulate touch events on a system level on iOS 7. (I don’t know anything about MfI and if simulating touches there are possible) If you can use a jailbroken device, you might use my BTC Mouse & Trackpad system extension to support Bluetooth Mouse device.
