For questions related to iOS 7, you should ask them on Developer Forum instead of Mailing List. For your question, i tried with same code on iOS 7 beta 3, everything works great in beta 4 on iPad 3. iOS7 b4 & BLE

Hello! Have anyone luck with establishing BLE connection on iOS7 b4 and iPad3? On my side it just forever tries to connect to discovered device or forever tries to retrieve it using UUID. I've even set observer for device's 'state' property - same luck: "Connecting" and no changes at all. The same code works perfect on iOS6. Hi Patrick Here'e my guesses. I'd assume that the OS gets it's chance to handles all profile that it supports. So, it would fully handle the ACRCP commands and forward them to the daemon. In this case, you might be able to hook into that one and try to intercept the commands there (everything is setup …) If the damon is written in Objective-C, you could do some method swizzling, if it sports symbols, you could do binary patching. Both is used heavily for iPhone Jailbreak development of system extensions ("tweaks"). The CydiaSubstrate library provides full support for method swizzling and function hooking, even for i386 and x86_64, as far as I know. BLE and Wifi don't interfere normally but in the Mac Mini I have, they have a shared antenna. I suppose the architecture is the same for MacBooks. So it doesn't matter if there is a wifi storm around you, just make sure the mac you use does not start to communicate over it while you are testing BLE. It's better to test with turned off wifi and ethernet connection if networking is needed.
