The Atinav stack will not work on MacOS X. Although it is an all-Java stack, it still uses some JNI that is specific to Win32 operating systems. However, if you're interested in using Java on MacOS X, then you should look into the Avetana stack. I am planning my final year bluetooth based project and have noticed that the built in stack for os x seems to like the C variant languages.
