Hi, I'm an student at NTNU(Norwegian University of Science and Technology), and I'm thinking about different projects for my final semester. I'm future switcher and have used OS X before (or mac for that matter), and therefore I have little knowlegde of what kind of java-support OS X have, especially when it comes to bluetooth. I'm thinking of developing an application that uses a bluetooth connection between a portable computer and an mobile phone. My question is the following: Can this be done (relativly easy) in Java on OS X? Is it correct that the Apple Bluetooth API only supports Objective-C and C++ ? If yes, which should I learn? (Java is the only programming language I know) Is it in my case possible to use JNI as a "brigde" between for example Java and Obj-C, so that i don't have to write the whole application in a new language? --------------------------------- Eivind Andersen http://www.item.ntnu.no/~eivindan _______________________________________________ bluetooth-dev mailing list | bluetooth-dev@lists.apple.com Help/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/bluetooth-dev Do not post admin requests to the list.
