We've discovered a weird behavior while using our app as well as other Bluetooth apps, in particular LightBlue. In iOS 6 we found that when the LightBlue app was searching we could not see our peripheral in our app. The strange thing is that even though our app does not display the peripheral, it asks to pair to that device. A few moments later (probably when the LightBlue app stops scanning?) the peripheral will show up in our app. This does not seem to be the case in iOS 5 though. Has anyone experienced this by chance? If so, what are your workarounds? Is this a known issue with the Apple wireless team?
