Hello, I see that others here are seeing issues with >100ms advertising intervals causing a significant and erratic delay in background discovery. The recommendation of using 20ms advertising seems a bit harsh(as far as battery consumption goes). It is also well below the 100ms limit that the Bluetooth SIG has put on undirected non-connectable devices. I trust that efforts are being made to improve this situation, but for now it seems there may be some missing pieces to the puzzle. The current Apple Development Guidelines show a list of 645ms+ advertising intervals that are approved to work ideally with the current background discovery algorithm. I would like to see another list that would list some Apple-approved advertising intervals between 20ms to 100ms, and perhaps a few between 100ms to 645ms. This would seem necessary to properly support both connectable and non-connectable devices without choosing a "bad" timing (that may prove to have poor performance with the current CoreBluetooth algorithm).
