site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: bluetooth-dev@lists.apple.com User-agent: Microsoft-Entourage/10.1.4.030702.0 Christian, There are two companies that make single chip solutions for Bluetooth. My definition of single IC means RF + baseband + controller is one IC. Both CSR (Cambridge Silicon Radio) and Broadcomm have single chip solutions for Bluetooth. Look at http://www.csr.com/products/icfamily.htm for family of ICs from CSR and http://www.broadcom.com/products/product.php?product_id=BCM2033 for Broadcom. Regards, Paul Davis

Hello everyone,
maybe someone of you can help me out.
I want to design a piece of hardware and want to use the Bluetooth technology. In our discussions here there is a point - needed space for these additional chips.
So, my questions are: Does anyone know the needed space for the ic chips? Because this solution should be for a very short distance (round about 5m) is it possible to use "single-chip" solutions?
Thanks for your supporting. -- Best regards, Mit freundlichen Gruessen, Christian Lichtenvort
