That key is only used to retrieve Service Data from Advertisement data in another peripheral. Right now it's not possible to set your own Service Data for advertising. Trying the CBAdvertisementDataServiceDataKey in the initialization options of the CBPeripheralManager yields an error that it cannot be used in there.
Firstly, how to use the CBAdvertisementDataServiceDataKey? It would be better to understand it if you provide an example of usage on both a peripheral manager and a central manager sides.
Secondly, what is a way to send a service related data of 20 byte long? Would it work in the background-mode?
